Yanet Berhanu

Is an Architect based in Warsaw

I have always found the process of making art and designing fascinating. As a child growing up in Ethiopia I was aware of many urban and architectural challenges and for that reason, I aspired to grow up and discover solutions to them. As a result, when I started college, I made the decision to put my focus on the discipline of architecture. This field piques my curiosity in structuring residential and commercial environments. I've gained proficiency in a variety of software programs as well as design skills, the ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail, construction law, and critical thinking. I have now finished the first phase of a demanding and time-consuming career goal that is the completion of my Bachelor's degree in Architecture & Urban Planning. I am currently thriving in one of the early phases of my career as an Architect.

The clash of cultures and the disparity in standards I've encountered while designing is one of the biggest challenges I've faced in this study/profession. Regardless, I’ve thrived in my internships, and I've grown immensely in my creativity, adaptability, and openness to the outside world. I believe that humans are greatly impacted by their environment therefore, I aim to fulfill my responsibility as an architect by designing spaces that are eye catching, functional, and environmentally friendly.
