The design of this Pavilion was inspired from nature by the membranous structure of mushrooms. It is composed of three intersecting circles gracefully projected on the shape of an elongated S curve, with curved bars connecting the roofing structures to a 3 support system. The Diverging Pavillion is intended for long-term use therefore, it is composed of recycled steel and translucent glass as the major components of construction and can further be disassembled and reused upon the end of the pavilion's lifetime. The circular roofing geometry as well as the triangulation is made of white steel pipes connected seamlessly to one another, while the roof covering is composed of translucent glass panels to limit the harsh rays of sunlight from seeping through creating a shaded area for the users of the Skaryszewski park.
The Pavilion is located in an open green area in the Skaryszewski park and orientated perpendicularly towards the lake providing visual access for the users to sit and enjoy the views of nature.
